Love And Marriage by Kenny Lyn Tai

You guys have got to watch this! I recommend it! it is a 5minute flash movie but i tell you it is great, you’ll laugh, grin, laugh again, then be sad but lastly you’ll smile when the movie is finished this was made by a Chinese-Filipino girl so meaning she’s Chinese but grew up in the Philippines..

Summary:

A typical story about a Chinese girl falling in love with a Filipino boy but as usual the family of the Chinese girl does not approve of their relationship because it is either they want a Chines boy for their daughter or a rich Chinese boy (which by the way is true and is common in the Philippines, some of my friends family are like that so if they have a boyfriend which is non-Chinese they would usually hide their relationship and not tell or if their parents will know about it they will try to break them up by restricting the girl with rules like after school you must come home immediately, confiscated cellphone, and the most common is one of the family members will wait and fetch or guard them) well uhmm back to the story so yeh they want their daughter to marry a Chinese boy so they do what must be done to make them break up blah blah blah….

“Nervous flyers, beware: a Department of Homeland Security-funded project is investigating whether Wii Fit Balance Boards might be good ways to detect signs of tension or unease in airport security lines.

As somewhere over 20 million Wii Fit owners know, the Balance Board can detect your precise balance point, making it a perfect keep-fit tool — but the Future Attribute Screening Technology project hopes detecting physiological signs — including rapid shifts in balance — will help identify passengers who may have hostile intentions.

“Researchers took a Wii balance board…and altered it to show how someone’s weight shifts. Studies are now under way to determine whether there is a level of fidgeting that would suggest the need for secondary screening,” CNN said.

The Balance Board is just one of a suite of sensors the Boston-based project is trialing; others include eye trackers and devices that record respiratory and heart rates. Researchers say their goal is to have a system ready for field tests in 2011.” – Yahoo News!

Well I myself have a Nintendo Wii and i really like it( talk about getting an exercise while wasting your time on those mindless, adrenaline rush and explosive games which i dont complain about btw..) but to think that the Wii board will be used to catch suspicious characters on Airports wooot! Go Nintendo!.. now who said that game consoles are a waste huh?

Well you might of heard of  Xpango or just you haven’t heard of them., well IF you have not heard of them i will explain it to you guys what they are don’t be shocked or say something like “yeh right this is a scam” read the whole post first before you judge anything.

So let me start with this phrase: “THESE SITES GIVE YOU FREE IPODS, IPHONE, MACBOOK, XBOX, NINTENDO WII, YOU NAME IT THEY HAVE IT” your shocked aren’t you? or well maybe saying “it is so a scam” well who wouldn’t i did it too and told myself it’s a scam and that nothing in this world is really free(which is true btw) well anyways lets get back with the topic while i was searching through forums on the internet their was this one post that got my attention it says “$ for completing an offer” and so i opened it and asked the author and gave me the instructions on how to do it he says he only need 1 more ref to get his FREE GIFT so i asked myself why is he/she willing to pay money for a site that looks like a scam right?, then i researched the site it was freebiejeebies and so i did the offer and did it completely and the author actually payed me, if you want to know what “offer” is then this is where i will explain to you what the sites mechanics are here it is “All you need to do to receive a gift is sign up, complete one offer yourself, and refer friends to do the same. We are paid commission for each offer completed by you and your referrals and we use this money to pay for the gifts.” an offer is which you have to sign up to a site that freebiejeebies has these offers are either FREE which you only need to complete a sign-up like for example the LoveFilm trial or Intuit or the ones you have to pay money to complete it ranging through 10$-25$(yah i know it says free right?) well duh it still is lemme explain more it is simply like this the Advertisers pay the site like freebiejeebies for the offers ok?, Now The Site Objective is to get members to join these offers so they offer incentive and rewards like this because they are earning way more than these game consoles and other products and since we are helping them bringing more members we get some rewards too, because the more members the more $$$ they get.

Let me give you an example if you do offers like paying 10$ Let’s say nintendo wii, it says 9 referrals so it must be 10 offers completed in total, right? so if you refer 9 people and they complete the 10$ offers, it will be 100$ spent So how can a Nintendo Wii cost 100$ when it’s like 240$ in stores? well i explained it earlier these sites like freebiejeebies earn commissions from these company’s if we join them(offer). AND SO just think about it what if you do offers like LoveFilm or Emusic which is a FREE OFFER where you do not need to pay so what’s the cost? = NONE you got your Nintendo Wii without spending anything which means FREE

AND YES THEY ARE OPEN WORLDWIDE ANYONE CAN JOIN

So their then i hope this explain alot i think i don’t need to post proofs do i?  a proof can be easily plagiarized and if it were a scam then why are people still continuing to do this and has success and just to let you know i did receive free things on these site ^_^

Typhoon Ondoy / Ketsana

Well as some or most people know that philippines has been struck by a typhoon( well it’s not new we always get on of those every month) as Philippines is kinda the capital way of storms/typhoons it would pass by our country then into the middle Asia. It really isn’t new but this typhoon was different on September 26, 2009 their were heavy rains pouring unto us but not that strong believe me i have experienced strong rains and winds before but we don’t get flooded because of those  this time their was a unnatural flooding because as they said on the news nearly a month’s worth of rain fell in six hours Saturday when 2 dams released waters in that day but the problem was a flood-way was closed so all the water(dirty brown/black water as i might say). Our house in the first floor go flooded quickly and the water was atleast 6ft. inside the house and me and my family climbed upstairs just waiting for the rain to stop and praying that the water wont come on the 2nd floor of the house and one of our neighbors who has a bungalow house stayed with us because as you imagine the water was very high and a 1-story house would be drowned and if we didn’t call her(she was alone) she wouldn’t even come out on the house maybe because she panicked and did not know what to do anymore and you could say if she didn’t come with us she might’ve drowned., after 24hours the water decreased rapidly because i heard some people say (their were no electricity for 4days after Sept. 26) that the gov’t blew up a dam or something so that the water would have a way. We were waiting for help from the government but no one came maybe because as they said the water from our part quickly decreased but the point was we were hungry and thirsty too with no relief goods that arrived but well i am not really angry with our government since —

And right this very moment we are cleaning our house(uhhh yeh i am blogging while our house is still in disarray) now and those who had bungalow houses in our subdivision are unfortunate since all their things got wet and all their appliances are either working or not so you could imagine the damages that the flood caused with the people here.,
