Typhoon Ondoy / Ketsana

Well as some or most people know that philippines has been struck by a typhoon( well it’s not new we always get on of those every month) as Philippines is kinda the capital way of storms/typhoons it would pass by our country then into the middle Asia. It really isn’t new but this typhoon was different on September 26, 2009 their were heavy rains pouring unto us but not that strong believe me i have experienced strong rains and winds before but we don’t get flooded because of those  this time their was a unnatural flooding because as they said on the news nearly a month’s worth of rain fell in six hours Saturday when 2 dams released waters in that day but the problem was a flood-way was closed so all the water(dirty brown/black water as i might say). Our house in the first floor go flooded quickly and the water was atleast 6ft. inside the house and me and my family climbed upstairs just waiting for the rain to stop and praying that the water wont come on the 2nd floor of the house and one of our neighbors who has a bungalow house stayed with us because as you imagine the water was very high and a 1-story house would be drowned and if we didn’t call her(she was alone) she wouldn’t even come out on the house maybe because she panicked and did not know what to do anymore and you could say if she didn’t come with us she might’ve drowned., after 24hours the water decreased rapidly because i heard some people say (their were no electricity for 4days after Sept. 26) that the gov’t blew up a dam or something so that the water would have a way. We were waiting for help from the government but no one came maybe because as they said the water from our part quickly decreased but the point was we were hungry and thirsty too with no relief goods that arrived but well i am not really angry with our government since —

And right this very moment we are cleaning our house(uhhh yeh i am blogging while our house is still in disarray) now and those who had bungalow houses in our subdivision are unfortunate since all their things got wet and all their appliances are either working or not so you could imagine the damages that the flood caused with the people here.,
